Guest reviews
from Booking.com & Airbnb guests
“We were walking along the canal and had not taken any coats with us. It started raining just as we arrived and we wanted to go into town for dinner. Not only was a fine place recommended but also we were given both a coat and a lift to it.”
“Lorenzo cooks the best breakfast this side of the Royal Canal. He can talk the hind legs off a donkey (asal). Seanchaí den scoth. Píobaire den scoth. Grab a room if available. You won't regret it. Squeaky clean, and oh such a comfortable bed. Cuirfear fáilte agus fichead romhat.”
“Perfect overnight stay for cycling on the Royal Canal. Lorenzo, the host, was so welcoming and looked after me really well. The highlight was breakfast, the veggie fry-up was huge and set me up for the day. Highly recommend!”
“Lorenzo was extremely kind and hospitable! Very cozy room in a quiet area less than a 15 minute walk into the middle of town. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Would highly recommend for anyone traveling through Mullingar!”
“I had a great stay. The room was very cosy, and the bed comfortable. The area is quiet and family-friendly. I also had trouble opening the front door upon my return, and the host came out to assist me right away, despite it being almost midnight.”
“Never in my life have I been handed a printed menu for a freshly cooked breakfast in an Airbnb before. My goodness... it was breakfast and lunch. Delicious! Lorenzo an absolute gent... would 100% stay here again... a great experience. Comfy single bed and own bathroom across the corridor was perfect for me. Best value in Mullingar especially when you consider the breakfast. Thanks for a great stay Lorenzo.”
“Lorenzo and Barbara were so welcoming and friendly, breakfast was amazing and great chats with Lorenzo, I highly recommend staying here when I'm in Mullingar. I won't be staying anywhere else other than with Lorenzo.”
